CARRÉ, a leading French company in mechanical weed control, has extended its range of guidance systems for hoes with its new PRECICAM XS interface.
This KIPLINE camera- and sensor-controlled guiding system is designed for specific crops and market gardening where space is at a premium.
The concept of the direct translation system ensures good responsiveness and limited play to guarantee optimum guidance accuracy. Its 400mm lateral correction ensures comfortable driving.
PRECICAM XS also differs from the PRECICAM field version in that it is possible to adjust the track width of the tyre control wheels or coulters from 1.30 m to 2.40 m to adapt perfectly to the layout of the crops, in beds for example. The modularity of the frame means that the overall width of the system can be reduced to a minimum of 1.5m, depending on its configuration.
PRECICAM XS combines perfectly with the manufacturer’s range of ECONET hoes, as well as with other hoes on the market, thanks to its standardised category 1 or 2 rear hitch.
Its compact, lightweight frame means it can be combined with any hoeing machine weighing up to 2000kg.
