KIPLINE, the new high-precision camera for guiding hoes by CARRÉ.
CARRÉ, a leading French company in mechanical weed control, is launching its new KIPLINE camera for use with the PRECICAM and PRECICAM XS guidance systems and its range of ECONET SGI and KLINEA hoes.
Back in 2007, CARRÉ was the first manufacturer to offer cameras on its hoes and then helped to develop this technology with its long-standing supplier over a period of 16 years. CARRÉ has now decided to turn to a local supplier. From now on, CORMIERS cameras will be fitted to CARRÉ equipment under the KIPLINE name.
The aim is to offer a camera that performs better in complex situations, that means where there is a high density of weeds and where work is carried out at narrow row spacings. Combining KIPLINE with the KLINEA hoe is the ideal solution for weeding cereals.
The KIPLINE camera guides the hoe precisely, thanks to the efficiency of its innovative image processing, which enables crop rows to be detected even in the presence of heavy weeds, guaranteeing high-quality hoeing in all conditions.
KIPLINE stands out for its wide selection of possible detection colours, making it possible to discriminate between crop rows and weeds.
Its high-definition optics analyse the entire colour spectrum from red to blue, with a multiple choice of shades, whereas other cameras on the market are limited to a selection of fixed colours.
The ergonomic design and ease-of-use of its touch-sensitive console make it easy to get to grips with.
The screen includes a real-time video display of the area analysed by the camera, confirming to the driver that operations are running smoothly.
LED lights extend the range of use in low light or night conditions. A second KIPLINE camera can be combined with the main camera for two-sided crop guidance, to ensure that the hoe is properly guided in conditions of low emergence or to finish off field tips.
